• A former member of Liverpool electro-pop band Ladytron, Pop Levi released his exotically named solo album, THE RETURN TO FORM BLACK MAGICK PARTY, offres in February 2007. Less slavishly retro than the work of his former band, the album seemingly channeled the spirit of Prince, Marc Bolan, and Roxy Music. The end result was a sound not unlike Goldfrapps 2006 album, SUPERNATURE--in short 1960s melodies, 1970s glam-rock beats, and 1980s synth-driven electronica.
